Elemental Trades in the Clans

Before you bite me, read first.

Each clan will be show as two of the four elements. Noapte will have Water and Air as good fitting for their night trait. Soarele will have the earth and fire elements. Now even though this could be a magical ability, maybe we could use them for traits like a fire epert wolf would know things like when lightening strikes or where a forest fire is. Earth could be increased tracking skills or knowing when there could be a drought. Water could be whether it will rain or increased ability to know how to heal wounds. Air could be knowing when a storm will hit when seasons change, etc.

We could do some advanced "powers" but they would be limited to a list the council feels would be fair without overdoing it. Share thoughts and ideas hehe. I have advanced ideas for this but for the moment lets look at the general idea hehe.

I like the theory of it but there are also aspects I'm not the most fond of.
For example I dont like the when lighting strikes or when forest fires are near because it seems like almost useless traits. I do liek the general idea though and i liek the earth having increased tracking skills. Perhaps it would be more effective to model the other skills after earth so it has more practical traits? For example:
Fire: increased strength
Wind: Increased Speed
Water: Increased agility
Earth: increased tracking

Even further, rather than it being an ability one is born into it more something a wolf would be trained into. Noapte would house the school of wind and water, and at the age where they would become apprentices Both by choice of the student and recommendation of the pack's council the apprentice would be placed in either school and taught the skills of the school. As the wolf increases in skill level the possible abilities become broader (as you mentioned " We could do some advanced "powers" but they would be limited to a list the council feels would be fair without overdoing it.")

In addition we could also have the skills you mentioned, but I think it would be more beneficial to have base skills as i mentioned.

Yea i was looking for examples so you could see what i was coming from. Skills and powers would be what was discussed.

Love the imagery for the schools to teach apprentices. They could be paired with a mentor who carried the very element they are training for. Just one per wolf. Having multiple could be an issue. Do we want to use Spirit NPCs to guide characters? Or just have one npc (probaably mother nature)?

What do you mean by spirit NPCs? Like spirit representatives of each schools or...?

They would simply assist wolves who have inside conflicts with themselves and their powers. Like an advisor i guess you could say.

I'm still lost lmfao. So like spirit npcs like ghosties or? From what I'm gathering the npc spirits would kinda work as religious figures?
